Believe it or not, unemployment in Ohio has ticked upward. As the economy continues to make it's comeback, 5 percent of people are still out of work, up slightly from 4.7 percent.
While many places are hiring, look to social media and you'll see people are simply not happy with many of the jobs that are available, forcing fast food and retail locations to close as they quit on the spot.
Professor Michael Goldberg called the labor force picky and says they'll looking for better compensation, but also on the lookout for other benefits too like flexibility… something they've gotten use to having during the pandemic. Another reason, difficulty getting someone to watch the kids.
