“Freight Bill Accuracy” - This metric shows the percentage of freight bills that are error-free (with 100% as the goal). This is calculated by first taking your “error-free freight bills… DIVIDING this by your total freight bills… then MULTIPLYING the result by 100”.
“Freight Cost Per Unit” - This metric delivers the cost of freight on a per item or SKU basis and is calculated by taking your “total freight cost… and DIVIDING this by the number of items”.
“Inventory Turnover” - This metric shows the number of times that a company’s inventory cycles on an annual basis. You can get this value by taking your “cost of goods sold... and DIVIDING this by the average inventory”.
“Days Sales Outstanding” - This metric measures how quickly revenue can be collected from your customers. This is calculated by “DIVIDING your receivables by your sales… then MULTIPLYING the result by the Days in Period.”
“Average Payment Period for Production Materials” - This metric is the average time from receipt of materials and payment for those materials. To get this, DIVIDE your Materials Payables by your Total Cost of Materials… then MULTIPLY this by your Days in Period”.
“On Time Shipping Rate” - This metric provides the percentage of items, SKUs or order value that arrives on or before the requested ship date and is calculated by taking the “Number of On Time Items… DIVIDING this by the Total Items… then MULTIPLYING the result by 100”.
