Lets first begin with who is eligible to apply for deemed university mbbs seats. Students from any state of India except Jammu and Kashmir who got qualifying score in NEET are eligible to participate in deemed university counselling. Last year the qualifying score was 119 for unreserved category and 96 for reserved category.


100% of MBBS Seats in 40 private medical colleges which are affiliated to private deemed universities comes under deemed university counselling. These mbbs seats are allotted by medical counselling committee through online counselling process similar to all india quota mbbs seats. There are close to 6300 seats in deemed universities.

The online counselling website to participate in deemed university counselling is mcc.nic.in. You need to register in this website under deemed university option to participate in deemed university counselling.
