The autograph copy/handwritten manuscript of this duet resides at the Nat. Bibl., in Paris, France. Napoleon Coste, a student of Fernando Sor, published a solo guitar arrangement of this piece. Another solo guitar arrangement exists by Daniel Fortea. The duet in its original form was first published by Karl Scheit in 1977.

Most recently, this composition was featured in Boys Over Flowers, a 2009 South Korean high school drama/television series. The television series dubbed the composition as "Ji Hoo's Theme”.
