This week's video is a bit different. The imagery and tale of Rama and Sita as shown in A Little Princess(1995) always stuck with me and I think could be used as a great plot hook in some DnD campaigns.
Although liberties have been taken with the story, this adaptation tells a portion of the story of Rama and Sita from the Vedic epic the Ramayana. The clips reflect the aranya kanda and yuddha kanda portions of the epic. The epic is wonderful and I would highly suggest reading it as well as watching this movie. Oh, interesting fact; Rama and Sita are played by Sara's parents! Truely a lovely touch for the film.
