Before remodeling a pool deck with any type of paver coping whether it be brick paver, travertine, paver, marble paver, shellock, or any other, we recommend you have the pool edge viewed by a professional (hopefully also the installer you hire) to see if the pool top beam needs repair before new installation to avoid having damage occur to the new coping around the pool or tile inside the pool thus being stuck having your new product removed then repairing the beam and then installing more new product.
This is also done and offered for pool interior behind you waterline tiles if you have and are keeping a concrete pool deck.
Always have a pool remodeler remove your waterline tile inside the pool before installing new tile. If there is a crack behind the tile the you need that crack repaired before installing the new tile. That crack if not repaired can cause new installed tiles to crack and not adhere properly or the crack can worsen and cause a leak to your pool.
Play it safe and secure your remodeling investment!
