Another short 45 minute flight from Charlotte to Atlanta on Delta's amazing 717!
This was my 3rd time flying on the Delta 717 and it never fails to amaze me how powerful the takeoffs are on these classic aircraft! The flight was smooth and uneventful apart from the 36 minute delay due to congestion at the airport and heavy traffic to takeoff, but we still managed to land on time!
This flight was the first out of 4 total flights I took on a trip to Miami and back with having a CLT - ATL connection on the Delta 717 then ATL - MIA on the Delta 757-200 (another trip report video)!
The Boeing 717 is one of my favorite aircraft because of its reliability and safety and for being one of the last classics still in regular service (in the US)! It was great to fly on this aircraft again and am looking forward to whatever future trip I take where I can hopefully fly this old bird again before she retires!
And apologies for the very sporadic filming
This was not only my 3rd flight on the 717 but also my 3rd flight EVER so im still getting used to the trip report filming process!
