Conventional open end and box wrenches require frequent removal and careful repositioning when turning a fastener, a process that slows down the work. That's where ordinary ratcheting tools have an advantage.
Both ends of these Drive-on combination wrenches work as 'speed wrenches' or 'quick wrenches' in that repositioning is faster than that required by conventional wrenches, albeit not quite as fast as socket wrenches or ratcheting wrenches e.g. GearWrench.
