WATCH: A video from an Iranian metro station showed police opening fire on people while they scrambled for cover.
They also beat passengers on the female-only carriage in another video.
Iran has seen near-constant protests since the death of Mahsa Amini in the custody of the country’s “morality police” in September. Recently, Iranian lawmakers have called for harsher punishments against protesters and the judiciary has begun issuing death sentences to some demonstrators.
According to rights groups more than 300 protesters have been killed and thousands have been jailed since September.
