A man was found dead at Macon County State Prison, coroner Brenda Oglesby said.
Keith Green, who was around 44-years old, was serving a life sentence for murder in Chatham County.
According to the Georgia Department of Corrections website, he committed the crime on January 25, 2019 and was arrested sometime that year.
