At least three people were killed by another round of earthquakes that struck southern Turkey late on February 20, 2023. Turkey’s disaster response agency said the magnitude 6.4 earthquake was followed by a 5.8-magnitude tremor three minutes later. They were recorded in Hatay, a province already devasted by earlier quakes on February 6 that killed more than 47,000 in Turkey and neighbouring Syria.
