Want to quickly remember which months of the year have 31 days? Use this handy knuckle mnemonic. All knuckles are counted as 31 days, the depressions between knuckles as 30 (or 28/29) days. Start with your left hand little finger knuckle for January, and count each depression and knuckle that follows as another month. Your two thumb knuckles join together as July and August, and you finish off on your right hand! How many days are in a month? Just check your knuckles.
