What is The Learning Curve (TLC) Ruler?
TLC Ruler is a quilting tool which makes it easy to machine piece perfect circles and other curved shapes. It comes with a comprehensive instruction sheet. Any quilter who has basic machine piecing skills can successfully create perfect circles with matching seams.
How does The Learning Curve Ruler work? It's simple. You start with oversized fabric squares or rectangles. Working in stacks, you use lines on the ruler to position the ruler and cut along the curved edge of the ruler with your rotary cutter. After shuffling the pieces for maximum contrast, sew the curved edges together using free form curved piecing. Press with a hot steam iron. Using the dots on the TLC ruler to position it, trim the unit to a perfect square or rectangle. The curved seams will be automatically positioned so that they match up perfectly when you sew your straight seams with a quarter inch seam allowance. SHOW OFF YOUR CURVES!
