My husband and I spent four days on Block Island and we ate in this restaurant three times. Each meal was great. We took advantage of outdoor seating on the Porch. Great views of the ocean and the Old Harbor. Inside seating is also available, and the indoor section, with a fireplace, looked interesting, but the weather was good so we opted for outside each time we were there..

Breakfast, lunch and dinner served daily, and they offer a fairly diverse menu specializing in seafood, steaks and local favorites. Inside and outside bar shows all sporting events and offers live entertainment if you're up for it. Staff was great all three times were were there, and even though it got busy at lunch, food came out from the kitchen pretty quickly. There are a lot of great restaurants on Block Island (see the links in the description section), but this is one we'll definitely go back to next time we visit.

The restaurant is located in the National Hotel, a Victorian structure in the heart of downtown Block Island, directly across the street from the ferry landing and within walking distance to most of the shops, restaurants, and beaches. 46 rooms all with air conditioning, private baths, and televisions. The location on Block Island is ideal;
