Let’s talk - don’t throw out your amaryllis bulbs just because the holiday season is over. Cut the spent flower stalk down, then let them grow on to encourage foliage growth. As growth slows and begins to yellow, withhold water and let them dry out. Plant up and put outside when danger of frost has passed.
