The Engineers Cooperative Housing (TECH) Society Lahore was registered with Cooperative Department on 16-07-1968. It is situated on Canal Bank Road, New Campus Lahore, in front of Doctor’s Hospital. It is a model Society comprising of 494 Members. Total land of the Society is 1164.52 Kanal comprising 533 residential plots having 401 plots of 32 Marla, 132 of 16 Marla and 13 of Commercial Plots.
Layout Plan of the Society was approved on 09-09-1980. A Revised Layout Plan has also been submitted to LDA, approval of which is awaited. There is complete development in the Society including Water Supply, Sewerage, Roads and Electricity. The Society has developed its Commercial Area and a Commercial Plaza has been constructed which is a source of Permanent Income for the Society.
The Society divided into 3 Blocks (A, B & C) and over 400 houses have been constructed over the years. The Society adopted Model By-laws and Model Election Rules as per directions of the Registrar Cooperative Societies, Punjab. Society is also running a High School and a Medical Centre through Trust imparting totally free services.
The Engineers Cooperative Housing (TECH) Society Lahore offers peaceful living with fully developed civic infrastructure to its members / residents. The Society has a state of the art security system that includes installation of CCTV Cameras for safe and secure environments for its members. Further, a Walkie Talkie System has also been provided to the Security Officials of the Society for better security of the residents.
