While I was on the 8.5 Test Server, I tried going up the new German medium tank line. There's a tier VIII, an tier IX and a Tier X. The Indien Panzer is the Tier VIII, the level of the Panther II; and I think it is a waste of good money.
Quite possibly, WOT realized the bad call they did when, through physics, they "killed" the Panther I. It was a stolid machine with a very good gun, the 75 L100, which was not able to give out much damage, but it was very accurate, and it was quite good at peppering all likely opponents from a distance. With the new physics, all the Panther could do was scrape some paint off the opposing tanks, and give a good comedy value in close. bounces anywhere. In fact, that nerf was the start of these videos.
Fast forward to now, and the Indien Panther makes its debut on the 8.5 test. Armour? we can debate if it has any. speed and acceleration? If you look close at its DNA, you can detect traces of an AMX40 lineage: the sticker says it can do 50 km/h, which it can only by falling out of bed, or skiing off the higher slopes in Malinovka. Ah, and this time the transmission is not in the vulnerable front, as in the Panther: it's well protected behind a solid wall of ammo racks. BUT.... the gun is solid. IF you put this tank and the VK3601H side by side, you'll see that the only real advantage of the indien panzer is the penetration value, and 450 hit points, which is one shot from your likely opponents.
Remember, this is a tier VIII tank, so you'll end up in Tier X battles; I dislike it , but you may not share my opinion. My advice is, stay back in cover. Then get more cover. then shoot. One other strategy hinges on its good traverse and turret traverse speed: wait until the field has thinned, then make runs at loners. You'll be able to go round them and put shots in.
