In his draft Police and Prime Plan 2021-25, the Mayor sets out four priority areas for keeping Londoners safe – reducing and preventing violence, increasing trust and confidence, better supporting victims, and protecting people from being exploited or harmed.
The Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) must send the draft plan to the London Assembly Police and Crime Committee, which is required by statute to review and make a report or recommendations on it.
Watch the Committee ask the Metropolitan Police and MOPAC about the four priority areas and whether they address current and evolving crime issues in London. The guests are:
Sophie Linden, Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime
Louisa Rolfe OBE, Assistant Commissioner for Met Operations, Metropolitan Police Service
Kenny Bowie, Director of Strategy and Policing Oversight, MOPAC
