Whip has been issued to 16 pro-Uddhav MLAs on behalf of Shinde camp. Shiv Sena MP Bharat Gogawale, who was appointed party chief whip by his leader Eknath Shinde, has issued a whiplash for all 16 senators in the Thackeray camp to attend a party meeting in Goa on Thursday. Since none of them have come, Gogawale may take disciplinary action against them, including their withdrawal. Together with 39 Senate legislatures, Shinde tightens the screws on the remaining 16 members of the legislature to bring in Thackeray. Former CM son Aaditya, who was elected to the Worli constituency, is also a Member of Parliament.
