Gene expression analysis using next-generation sequencing (NGS) has several advantages in throughput, sensitivity and accuracy over qPCR and microarray methods; however, limitations with library preparation strategies and access to data analysis often makes RNAseq unnecessarily laborious and confusing.
QIAGEN has developed the QIAseq UPX 3’ Transcriptome library preparation kits and GeneGlobe data analysis center to address these challenges. QIAGEN’s new UPX kits use unique molecular indexing (UMIs) to increase the accuracy of RNAseq combined with LNA-enhanced chemistry for increased sensitivity. In addition, library preparation is simplified using the UPX strategy which allows researchers to combine up to 384 samples into a sample tube for library construction following reverse transcription. To complete the workflow, data analysis is included in the price of the kit and allows researchers to go from FASTQ file to fine differential fold change or single cell analysis.
