At least six people were killed and 49 others injured when a BEST bus crashed into pedestrians and vehicles in Kurla West, Mumbai, on December 9. The bus, heading towards Andheri, collided with 30-40 vehicles over a 100-meter stretch before crashing into the RCC column of the Solomon Building, damaging its compound wall, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The injured were quickly transported to nearby hospitals, including BMC-run Bhabha Hospital in Kurla and Sion Hospital.
