Ground cherry pie is an Indiana delicacy! At least, it was among our Kaehr clan growing up. Today, I prepped for it; I'll be baking the pie tomorrow morning. I don't bake pie anymore, so I didn't even remember where my pie pans were. I had to look in the deep recesses of the kitchen island with a flashlight. I found one metal pie pan.I think I'll just use an aluminum one so that I don't need to have it returned.

My brother gave me the crusts so at least I don't have to get out the pastry blender and try to remember how to roll out pie crust.
