Reasons why I chose this Route :
- Janakpur Flight costs low from Kathmandu.
- Flights tickets easily available unlike other domestic airports connecting Indian border.
- You do not need to change the car in border and Nepali cars can easily reach Darbhanga Airport.
- You can easily reach Darbhanga in 1.5 hours which is way too shorter compared to other routes.
- The Scorpio I booked charged me 7000 Nepalese Currency to reach Darbhanga. (Charges might differ)
Things you need to take care are :
- Do not take tempos because they are not authorized to go till far.
- Do not travel the Darbhanga Route at night or late evening due to its impression of being little unsafe.
