Gary Burrill asks Premier Stephen McNeil about the public's concerns with diminishing democratic process in cutting elected school board representatives. Of further concern is the fact that school boards are one of the only bodies to have achieved gender parity, and therefore, should the reforms go forward, half of these elected representatives are women who will no longer be part of the provincial governance system.
