Canoeing upstream on the Black River near Kelly North Carolina past majestic Cypress trees. The Black River is home to the eastern Bald Cypress, the fifth oldest tree species in the world. Ancient Bald Cypress trees in excess of 2600 years old were discovered along the Black River in 2018.
