F: Jamaica – 179th Street, Queens to/from Coney Island, Brooklyn. 6th Avenue Local, Queens Blvd Express, Culver Local (southbound) or Express (northbound), via 63rd Street
Because of Switch Replacement at 59th Street – Columbus Circle:
- A trains were not running between West 4th Street and 145th Street. A trains ran in two sections: Between Queens and West 4th Street, then via the F to/from Lexington Avenue – 63rd Street and via the Q to/from 96th Street – 2nd Avenue, making local stops between Euclid Avenue and West 4th Street and between Inwood – 207th Street and 145th Street, making local stops between 168th Street and 145th Street.
- C trains were suspended.
- D trains were not running between 42nd Street – Bryant Park and 145th Street. D trains ran in two sections: Between Norwood – 205th Street and 145th Street and between 42nd Street – Bryant Park and Coney Island.
- Q trains were not running between Times Square – 42nd Street and 96th Street – 2nd Avenue.
- 4 and E trains ran more frequently during the day/evening
Alternatives: For service between 145th Street and 59th Street – Columbus Circle nearby 1, 2, 3 train stations. Free shuttle buses ran between 145th Street A, D and 96th Street 1, 2, 3. For service between 50th Street and West 4th Street, take the E. Use nearby N, R train stations. For service between Bronx and Midtown Manhattan, take the 4. Take the A for service along 2nd Avenue.
Because of Signal Modernization, Manhattan bound F trains ran express from Kings Highway to Jay Street – MetroTech. For service to/from bypassed stations, take a Coney Island bound F train.
