Transition 1: Football Change
This GoPro transition is a creative version of the color transition with the topic "football". I show you step by step how to make this GoPro transition, the only thing you have to do is to make a cut. You can do that with every editing program. So it is a transitions which is very easy to apply for your GoPro summer travel videos.
Transition 2: Luma Surf
This GoPro transition is a little bit harder: Again, you need 2 clips, but only the first one is important, the second GoPro clip where you are going to transition to doesn't matter at all. The first clip has to fulfill some requirements which I explain you in the video and then you need after effects for the luma key effect or a similar editing programm with the same effect. Apply the luma key effect and adjust your keyframes until you are happy (I show you how in the video). That's the only effect you need and then you are done! This transition will make your summer GoPro travel videos look very cinematic.
Transition 3: Swimming Fish
That's an advanced mask transition which you can do if you take your GoPro underwater to film fishes. Choose a clip where a fish swims from one side to another in your image. Then you have to mask out the part behind the fishes fin. The mask won't be perfect at all, that's why you have to duplicate this clip, drag the duplicated one under the original and delete the mask. Afterwards you set 2 keyframes for opacity 100% and 0% at the beginning and the end of your duplicated GoPro clip. Then you take the clip you want to transition to and lay it under the duplicated GoPro clip and you are done. It's a little bit a harder transition but you don't see it in every cinematic GoPro summer travel video.
Transition 4: Around the world - light
That's another very easy and beginner friendly GoPro transition. You need 2 GoPro clips where you move around fast in a circle. At the fastest point of the first clip you make a cut to the second clip (also at the fastest point). That's it - perfect if you are new to making cinematic GoPro travel videos.
