aka: everyone's reaction when steven spirals further into unhealthy coping mechanisms stemming from the immense amount of pressure he was put under as a child to be the one who fixes everything, to the point where his entire identity and sense of self-worth is based on helping others and when everyone finally has relatively stable lives and don't need him to work through their pain with them his entire world starts to crumble around him :)
