Here is your Cleveland weather forecast from 3News Meteorologist Jason Mikell:
Spring is just days away and we're getting a more and more delicious taste of it this week.
For Tuesday, a weak frontal boundary will head south and then stall across Cleveland and northern Ohio on Tuesday, bringing a few more clouds and stray showers. Temps will be a tad cooler, but still mild in the low to mid 50s.
By Wednesday, that front will surge well to our north allowing true spring-time air to spill in. Highs will reach into the mid and upper 60s both Wednesday and for St. Patrick's Day temperatures nearing 70 degrees and for some, it could lock in! That would be more than 20 to 25 degrees above daytime averages. Sunshine along with passing clouds are expected both days.
We then turn our attention toward a late-week early weekend system poised to bring in some scattered showers. By Saturday evening into Sunday, the wraparound will sucker punch our temperatures back towards winter just as we welcome the first day of Spring Sunday. Some forms of mixed precipitation could also be experienced by Sunday.
YOUR 3-DAY FORECAST:
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies and dry. Low 40s.
TUESDAY: More clouds with some sun. Stray showers possible as a weak front settles in. Low to mid 50s.
WEDNESDAY: Sunshine with passing clouds. Noticeably warmer with highs in the mid to upper 60s.
THURSDAY: Variable clouds with sunshine and balmy conditions. Upper 60s.
