A story about Socks, Science, Superbugs, and making friends.
Meet Sock, the puppet. Sock is excited to go and sing for the children in Hospital with Ms Clown. Sock loves the Hospital. It is always clean and tidy.
The children love Sock’s singing. All the children hug Sock...
Until Sock catches all the bugs that make the children poorly, and has an adventure to the cleanest, tidiest place in the whole Hospital: the Laboratory.
Can you help Sock find a way back to Ms Clown and the children?

NOSOCOMIAL means 'hospital acquired'. Since 2018 we have turned hospital-acquired experiences and stories of Healthcare Scientists into drama. We are working with the Precision AMR research initiative at UCL on Rise of The Resistance, a festival of performance and events rising to the global challenge of antimicrobial resistance. We will be encouraging research scientists to collaborate on public performances, and have commissioned various artists to create short digital dramas inspired by medical science.
