Most people skip the very basic steps of planche training, leading to very poor results. This also increases the chances of elbow and wrist pain. The Planche is a movement that must be built from the ground up. We need to understand the scapula and pelvis position to then apply them to all planche progressions.
A lot of people start on tuck planche right away. However, investing time in plank on arms and elbow planks is always a good idea. Even regressing to knees elbow plank and quadruped might be a good place to start for most people.
