How to set the timing on a portable carpet binding machine NC Carpet Binding Models PBS & PBT.

Checking the timing on a carpet binding machine and/or resetting the timing is pretty simple.

1. Make sure you have a sharp point on your shuttle hook part # PS116. *** You should always have a spare shuttle hook on hand. It is the most vital part on yoiur carpet bindder.

2. Make sure you remove the race ring & shuttle hook. Of course make sure to blow out carpet pile fibers ensuring the shuttle race area is clean.

3. Move your needle down to it's lowest point on the left hand side stroke.

4. Your shuttle hook should be 1/16" away from the side of the needle.
