Honda’s lovable CR-V is making a comeback. This time around, with two major changes to the recipe. For the first time ever, there’s a third row of seats on offer. And, also for the first time ever, there’s a 1.6-litre diesel engine under the bonnet. What’s more, Honda is pushing the envelope in terms of luxury too, both in terms of design and the materials used inside the cabin.

But, things aren’t as rosy for the CR-V as it once used to be. Hyundai’s Tucson is lurking, and Volkswagen’s Tiguan is waiting to pounce as well. Question is, has Honda made enough of an impression to wow you once again? Let’s dig deep.
