People have come to me and they've said, "Well I've had an injury claim and I've been dealing with ICBC and they've offered me a settlement. Can you help me?" I look at their claim and the information they've provided and usually I can help them.

If they've received an offer from ICBC I'll typically take the claim and I'll tell them that if I cannot improve on the claim, I will not change you anything. It's rare that I cannot double or triple what ICBC had offered them.

That's because a person who is handling their own claim doesn't really understand the information that ICBC requires, doesn't understand the proof that they require or understand the value that their claim has.

All those things, we know. We've had a great deal of experience in dealing with these things and we can help.
