Footage from the first day of the ELR Summer gala on 6th July,
Unfortunately somebody forgot to tell the weather that it was summer. Tottential rain threatened to ruin proceedings, this is the best of what I could salvage, apologies if my thumb makes frequent interruptions trying to keep the lens clear!
Good fun though, a real strong gala this time
- D9016 stands at Ramsbottom on the 9.20 Bury-Rawtenstall
- 50015 runs into the station on the 9.37 to Heywood and is caught as far as Bury
- 5081 Is seen at Bury and subsequently departs northbound on the 9.35 ex Heywood
- D9016 arrives at Bury on the 10.06 ex Rawtenstall and we have a run out to Heywood.
- back at Bury, 55002 takes over for a run to Rawtenstall and return to Ramsbottom
- 33109 departs Ramsbottom for Rawtenstall
- 37275 runs into Ramsbottom for the 13.24 shuttle to Bury, we go along for the ride
- in Bury D9009 runs through the station. Now coupled to 55002 we have a run up to Rawtenstall on the 14.30 and return on the 15.26 to Heywood
- D9009 runs round at Heywood and returns as far as Ramsbottom
