So am I extending my year to keep on living in America or am I going back home to South Africa? In this video I explain everything and give you reasons as to why this was my decision. This is a continuation on my last video: 12 Month Update on my male au pair life here in America.
My reasoning was because it made sense to extend. I wasn't sure what I was going to do if I had gone back to South Africa at this time. The boys still need me as I can see the positive impact that I am having on them. It took me a long time to start actually making friends and a life here so I wasn't ready to leave just yet and I'm enjoying it so much here.
And most importantly, the last reason as to why I am extending is... that I haven't met Selena Gomez yet! Haha!
