The CDOT Mc Ginnis GP-40-2H's are no more. They are all being re-built for the new Hartford Line/CT Rail. 6694, 6695, 6698, and 6699 are all re-built. 6697 was sent out two months ago leaving 6696. Just last week, the turbocharger went bad and they decided to send it out for rebuild early. This video shows a reflection of its service up and down the shoreline and then on 6696's last few weeks substituting on the Springfield for the Hartford line. This video includes all but one GP-40-2H in Mc Ginnis as 6695 was gutted out and used for parts but you can see 6695 re-built and in the new CT Rail Scheme. I hope you guys enjoy this video!
