Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi met senior Taliban leaders in the Afghan capital Kabul on Thursday. This was Qureshi’s first visit to Afghanistan since the Taliban victory in August. Qureshi visited the Afghan capital despite Pakistan not recognising the Taliban govt yet. The delegation included the head of the ISI, Faiz Hameed, who was seen in Kabul earlier. The meeting comes following tension over transport links between the neighbouring countries. After the meeting, Qureshi said both sides held detailed talks on cross-border movement and trade.
