After watching hundreds of different videos, there's still no real information on Facebook Bonus Program on what you should be doing in terms of staying monetized.

Millions of creators are getting demonetized for their bonuses and everyone seems confused.... LOL

Here's why I did this video.

1. You can't use music from Facebook even though they recommend music to you.

Just don't do it.

Your video will be flagged for copyright as you don't own the music license and if enough of your videos are flagged, you will be demonetized which means you will not be able to make money.

To combat this, you can get a membership at epidemic sound and use their music in your videos.

12 months ago, I had about 10 videos that were flagged on one of my pages and of course, lost monetization.

2. Don't use other people's videos in your content.

I learned the hard way about 12 months ago.

What creators do on Facebook is they can take ownership of your video if you are using their video.

If that's the case, you lose monetization and if it happens enough times, your account will be flagged which means you will start to earn less and less income.

So if you want to make more money with Facebook bonus program, make sure to create your own content.

Don't use other people's videos as they can take claim/ownership and never use Facebook music they recommend to you even if it's from the Facebook music library.

I had a video that was flagged for copyright and the song was from the Facebook music library where it was supposedly, copyright free.

I will finish with this.

There's a lot of creators making $10,000-$15,000 per month with Facebook and you might think that's a lot of money.

But a lot of research, you will find out they are getting 50-150M views on their videos and content.

It's almost impossible to get 10M views, let alone 150M views.

I am also seeing a lot of creators complain that their income is getting less and less even though sometimes they are reaching more people.
