Cherry Chutney Recipe
Serving – 8 nos
Preparation time – 15 mins
Cooking time – 20 mins
Ingredients Quantity
Chilean Cherry 25-30
oil 1 tbsp
kalonji 1 tsp
Ginger 1 tbsp
Brown Sugar 4 tbsp
Chaat masala 2 tsp
salt to taste
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Chilli flakes 1 tbsp
Apple Cider vinegar 2 tbsp
Method :
1. Deseed Chilean cherries and keep aside .
2. Coarsely grind deseeded cherries in a blender and keep aside .
3. Heat oil in a pan and add kalonji and saute for 30 secs.
4. Add ginger chopped , grounded cherries , brown sugar and cook for 4-5 mins or until the mixture
thickens.
5. Add salt , chaat masala, red chilli powder , chilli flakes and mix well and cook for 5 mins .
6. Add apple cider vinegar , mix well and cook for 5 mins .
7. After 5 mins remove from flame and transfer to a serving bowl .
8. Garnish with mint sprig and serve with buns or paratha on the side .
