Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the ShockStrap E-Track Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with the built-in shock absorber. This strap measures 20 feet long by an inch and a half wide. The shock absorbing ratcheting tie-down strap lets you secure cargo in your toy hauler, enclosed trailer, cargo van, or anywhere you have an E-track system installed. The built in shock absorbs impact to ensure constant tension. This means that the shock takes all the impact, and your anchors won't accidentally disconnect as you go over rough terrain or hit a bump or if your load shifts. This material is an urethane-based material that stands up to extreme temperatures, saltwater, moisture, oil, and most chemicals. There is a safety strap on one side of the ShockStrap for two reasons.
One, if the ShockStrap we're to break, the safety strap would keep the tie-down tight and your load secure. Two, this also acts as a limiter so you won't over tighten or put undue stress on your load. It's got the easy-to-use ratchet mechanism right here. This makes it easy to tighten down the strap and maintain tension on the strap. It's got the nice plastic coated handle, and the outside release lever that ensures simple, safe operation even if you're wearing gloves. It's really easy to use.
It's got the release lever there, so you can open it up to the ratcheting position. It's got nice seamless operation, no kinking or binding. When you're ready to release the tension of the strap, that way you can unload your gear, you need to open this to the fully open position. Just like that. That's gonna allow you to release the tension applied to the strap. That way you can remove your load.
You can actually undo the strap all the way, take it all the way out of the ratcheting mechanism, and then I'll go ahead and show you how to reassemble it into a ready-to-use position.See this gap right here Place the strap through the back of that, bring it through, and then we're just gonna take it right on top of this bar. Then you can pull out all the slack and then use the mechanism to tighten the strap and secure your load.Again, it's a nice, easy-to-use design. I really like the outside release lever. Makes it very, very easy to undo the tension. That way you can easily unload your gear when you're ready to do os.I also want to point out, again this is designed for E-track systems, so it's gonna feature the spring-loaded fittings on the strap ends, one on each end.
These snap into an E-track anchor slot. I do have an E-track anchor slot to show you how those work. Just like this. Place it in there, and it secures. When you're ready to release it, you lift up on this little lever, and then rotate the unit out of the slot. The E-track system is very easy to use. If you're in need of E-track, you can find that here at eTrailer dot com.Now the fittings and the ratcheting mechanism as well as all the hardware, all the steel components on the unit have a really nice corrosion-resistant zinc chromate coating, which protects them from rusting corrosion, and it's not affected by extreme weather conditions. The strap is made from a durable polyester webbing that's UV resistant and withstands abrasions and water absorption. The strap is white in color and it features the nice red accents. The safe working load limit is 1,000 pounds. Maximum load or break strength is 3,000 pounds. Please note, tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit. The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used. That's gonna do it for today's look at the ShockStrap E-Track Ratchet Tie-Down Strap with the built-in shock absorber.
