GFS MasterClass connects top film directors with young storytellers from around the world through a unique Google+ Hangout series. Each monthly session highlights an aspect of Ghetto Film School's award-winning curriculum, with participants completing creative assignments for each class. The best work will screen at special program during the 2013 Sundance Film Festival.
Creative Assignment: "Film and Creativity (And Whatever You Want to Talk About!)"
This assignment will be to write a 2-minute short based on a metaphor (a concept, visual image or imaginary scenario) that expresses the feelings that define you at this moment in time, and/or that define what it's like to be alive right now.
