Angular pots can be tricky to throw at times. Thin walls between sharp changes of angle often cause one section to slump and it’s often easier just to destroy the pot, wedge it up again, and throw it into something new rather than faffing around for a while trying to save something that’ll likely never be truly rectifiable.
As for trimming errors, the most common is when the pot dislodges and comes flying off. Sometimes it remains standing and other times it flies off to one side. I’m not a perfect potter, no one is and faults like both of these are probably common occurrence, there are good days and bad days and sometimes I simply don’t feel like making on the wheel.
At least with the camera rolling so often footage like this is slowly accumulated and little montages of my failure, much to your enjoyment I’m sure, can be created.
