This amateur video shows the use of round baler belts as transmission belt for an Esterer DKV board saw. The belt splice was carried out directly by the operator of this sawmill with the patented hybrid vulcanizing material Multiface 5 as a step splice. With impressive 33.7 m/s belt speed and 718 revolution per minute (or approx. 12 turn per second) and 35 kW power transmission, this application clearly shows that Multiface achieves the highest dynamic strength.
In the meantime the belt performed more than 100 million turn or cycles and is still working well.
