What can I say? Such an amazing instrument with so much history... How many songs written by this legend can you recognize?

Prophet-10 was initially released by @Sequential in 1981 as a double keyboard (10 voices hence the name), one on top of the other. The look was not as different yet the two Prophet-5s creating the 10, make it look astonishing and well... too heavy!

Three versions of prophet 5 were built between 1978 and 1984. The first, Revision 1 was only 182 units. Revision 2, on the other hand, was mass-produced in quantities over 1,000; this model was more robust, added cassette patch storage, and replaced the koa wood casing with walnut. Revision 3 replaced the Solid State Music (SSM) chipset with Curtis Electromusic Specialties (CEM) chips, necessitating a major redesign. ​In all, approximately 6,000 Prophet-5 synthesizers were produced.

Finally, in 2020, the new Revision 4 was introduced with the capability to expand the Prophet-5 itself, with the Prophet-5 Voice Expansion card and a brand new, more stylish yet vintag-ish version of Prophet-10.
