Nuts and seeds are some of the most nutrient-dense foods we can consume and hazelnuts are no exception. They are extremely nutrient rich and now being considered a superfood by individuals due to their incredible nutrition and health promoting abilities. Hazelnuts are also easy to add to your diet and are very delicious. Just try to enjoy them in moderation. Now, lets discuss some of the incredible health benefits of consuming hazelnuts.
1. First, hazelnuts are loaded with important nutrition for our bodies. They contain many different types of vitamins, minerals and nutrients they play a vital role in keeping us healthy and energized. Hazelnuts are great sources of nutrients such as manganese, vitamin E, copper, magnesium, thiamine, iron and folate to name a few. They are also good sources of protein, dietary fibre and antioxidants. Again, try to eat them in moderation as they can be high in calories.

Studies have also found that consuming hazelnuts regularly can reduce inflammation that can damage our cardiovascular system, improve blood lipid levels and improve blood pressure.

These compounds have been shown to have tremendous anti-aging effects as well as disease fighting abilities. 4. Although on the higher side of calories and fat content, hazelnuts can actually help with weight loss and proper weight management when consumed in moderation. Studies have found that tree nuts such as hazelnuts can help to boost our metabolism, which can lead to more calories being burned throughout the day and weight loss. They also contain good levels of thiamin which can help to promote healthy metabolism and convert carbs into glucose, allowing it to be used up as energy. Also, the good levels of protein, fibre and fat can help you to feel more full and prevent overeating.
5. Lastly, if you are looking to improve the look and quality of your skin and hair, then hazelnuts may also be able to help in this regard. This is attributed to the incredibly high amounts of vitamin E that they contain. This important vitamin can help to promote healthy skin and hair by improving both elasticity and moisture. The antioxidant abilities of vitamin E can also help to prevent signs of aging, acne and can even help to regenerate skin cells. Hazelnuts can also help the hair to look more radiant and full.
