Very good modifiers this week, Catapult and Airborne helps a lot.
I used Sunsinger subclass. The strike is not too difficult, especially if you use the “safe” spot at the boss fight. Check out how I did it. During the strike snipers hit very hard, so be careful.
Weekly Nightfall Weapons I used: Cryptic Dragon scout rifle, Praedyth's Revenge sniper rifle, Gjallarhorn exotic rocket launcher. For the Boss fight I changed to If Materia machine gun and Icebreaker exotic sniper rifle.

Modifiers:
Catapult (Grenade recharge rate is greatly increased),
Airborne (Players deal more damage while in the air),
Fresh Troops (Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements),
Berserk (Minions of the Darkness won’t flinch, even after massive damage),
Epic (Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers).
