Aurora delays autonomous trucks 

Autonomous truck company Aurora Innovation has delayed the launch of its driverless trucking service to April 2025.

The company cited remaining challenges in surface street driving and freeway construction as reasons for the delay.

Aurora plans to start with 10 autonomous trucks and scale up to "tens" by the end of 2025.

The company intends to expand its driverless trucking service to the Fort Worth-Phoenix route later in 2025.

Aurora raised $500 million in August to fund its initial scaling efforts.

The delay is expected to have a negligible financial impact on the company.
