WTRL TTT #297 from 26 December 2024 (27 December in Japan). JETT Racing Team. Bologna Time Trial (Bologna) - 32.00 km.
Final Result: 6th overall out of 252 teams (WITH ONLY 2 RIDERS).
We were limited with availability because of the holidays and decided as a team not to compete. Yaguchi and I - without each other knowing - decided the day of the event to compete individually and found each other in the starting pen a couple of minutes before our official start time. We quickly improvised a strategy and finished with a pretty incredible time for a two man rotation (only 17 seconds slower than our result in last year's Bologna TT with 8 riders).
We were technically DQ'ed in this event because rules are that you need at least 3 finishing riders but with our result, we would have placed 6th overall, and I am going with that.
