"Patriot Games" is a 1992 action thriller film based on Tom Clancy's novel of the same name. The movie stars Harrison Ford as Jack Ryan, a retired CIA analyst who becomes embroiled in a dangerous international conflict.

The story revolves around Ryan's attempts to foil an assassination attempt on a member of the British royal family while vacationing in London. In the process, Ryan kills one of the assailants and his actions make him and his family the target of a vengeful terrorist organization led by Sean Miller (played by Sean Bean).
